"God, despite resting on the seventh day of creation, did not establish the Sabbath for His own rest. Unlike humans, God does not take a day off, as emphasized by Jesus in John 5:17. The Sabbath serves as a revelation of God's rest, and through Jesus' finished work, humanity can enter into that rest."
