Home for the Broken, Encouragement for the Hurting, and a Family for the Follower of Jesus. “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7
Investing in Family Discipleship & Impacting Our Community At Calvary, as a community of faith resolved to reach and impact our community and our world for Jesus; our Top Initiative for 2024: HEART FOR THE HOUSE is more than “bricks and mortar”. It’s about Building A Legacy. Our new space will be a haven for the broken, offering encouragement for the hurting, and becoming a family for every follower of Jesus. Just as Colossians 2:6-7 reminds us to walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him…we envision a place where our community can be rooted in faith, established in love, and abounding in thanksgiving.
It’s not about constructing a building, but building the family…we’re creating a spiritual home for our faith family. We are stepping out in faith, wisdom, and biblical stewardship, with a goal to realize this vision in 2024. Our new building will be a testament to our dedication to God’s work; a place where lives are transformed and a beacon of hope for all.
As you support this initiative beyond your normal giving, you can do so with confidence. Every dollar you contribute will be allocated exclusively to this crucial initiative, and every dollar counts! Thank you for choosing to make God’s house a priority in your personal financial management. We are praying for God to be glorified as we take steps of sacrifice to be a church engaged fully on Kingdom impact.
Jesus, how might you want me involved in this?
There are many ways for you to get involved with the Heart for the House campaign. See the ways below.
Prayer shouldn't be our last resort, rather our first line of defense. There is so much to be praying for in the coming weeks and months. Would you commit to praying each day for a specific aspect of the initiative?
The number we are asking is a BIG number and DOESN'T MAKE SENSE if you look at it strictly from a financial aspect, but we want the focus to be on faith & people. Faith forces us to trust God to lead us; and people matter to God, so it will be with us too!
As the church continues to grow with expansion, we need to continue in who Jesus has called us to be: a home for the broken, encouragement for the hurting, and a family of faith for the follower of Jesus!
